Jonny Drubel
combines pop and jazz with a little bit of Broadway inspiration in his music.
His songs and his talent are comparable to Frank Sinatra, Michael Buble, Josh
Groban, and Harry Connick Jr.
Lakers fans
were recently treated with a peak at Jonny Drubel’s vocal talent when he sang
the National Anthem at a home game. Jonny took the center court and performed
in front of athletic icons Kobe Bryant and Dwight Howard, celebrities like Jack
Nicholson, and a crowded Staples
Center and even received
a loud roar of enthusiastic applause that seemed to vibrate the seats in the
stadium! Watch Kobe
and Howard foot tapping (or was that nerviousness?) for Jonny as he spun the
National Anthem, to make it his own here.
