Now that summer is almost over, things are picking up again and getting stressful. The kids are back in school, there’s deadlines to be made and soccer practices to attend. There’s not as much time for yourself as there should be. Maybe you are coming back from that unforgettable vacation and dreading that work week that’s now just around the corner. You can’t escape the everyday grind, but you can still have fun and escape into your music. That’s why this month I have recommended albums that will let the summer live on in your headphones and in your stereos.

Cutting Edge Alternative Rockers “Left Standing” Release New Album “A Brand New Day”

www.LeftStanding.com

Sin City’s newest rock sensation – Left Standing has released their latest album: “A Brand New Day”. The band, assembled out of the bright lights of Las Vegas, is comprised of five very talented musicians – 3 of which are brothers so they are mighty tight: Danny Pino (lead vocals), Chris Pino (bass, vocals), Beau Stewart (guitar, vocals), Jesse Pino (guitar, vocals), and Zak Weidle(drums). They are a group that knows no boundaries and whose apparent mission is to entertain their audience.

This act puts their mark on several different styles, making each their own. Definably a rock act, they also venture into pop, alternative, punk and even a little blues. the quintet’s latest full-length CD, "A Brand New Day", infectious sing-along choruses, soaring guitar melodies and fist-pumping rhythms ensure listeners won’t be shaking these songs from their heads for days. Listening to songs such as the heart-on-sleeve ballad “Jeremy,” the righteous “32 Years” and the anthemic title track, "Brand New Day" Left Standing’s songs feel familiar from the first listen because the songwriting is so good, but with radio-ready fare like “Brand New Day” balanced with hard-charging numbers such as opening track “Revolution.” Left Standing will have you shouting along to the high heavens before you even have a chance to question why or how.

You can listen to them at Whotune.com where the Band recently competed with 125 other bands and won the Whotune.com music competition, raking in the #1 Grand Prize. You can get their digital EP download on their website at:
